Wound dressing and consumables fees
Wound dressings and the use of medical consumables supplied by the practice will attract out of pocket expenses for patients from 1 March 2025.
Please note Medicare does not remunerate the practice for wound dressing supplies.
The practice cannot absorb the cost of these dressings if we are to continue to provide this as part of our quality healthcare services.
The out of pocket expense varies from $5 to $20, depending on the type of dressings.
Please note that all patients will be charged an out of pocket fee for dressings regardless of concession status. Please speak to your doctor if you are experiencing financial hardship.

Care plans and Health Assessment are bulk billed.

Heart checks will incur a gap payment.

Commercial Driving Medical $150 – no rebate. (Patient can claim back tax depends on their occupation)
